The mission of the Southwest Fire Department is to protect the citizens of our community and their property from all hazards by rendering aid rapidly and professionally. That the aid we render be done with compassion, dignity, and integrity.

How We're Helping our community
We are a community-based Fire Department in Palatka Florida founded in 1965. We are focused on helping make the communities around us a better, safer place. With the help of our tireless team, we handle approximately 150 calls for service a month, organize fundraisers, exciting community-building events, and in-depth fire training sessions for our volunteers.
